Independent Contractor / Studio Rental
Please note that instructors at UPPilates are not employees—they are independent contractors who rent studio space to teach their own clients, or work within the UPPilates community of students. This gives you the freedom to:
Build and grow your own Pilates business.
Set a schedule that works best for you.
Thrive in a professional studio environment without the overhead of running your own.
What We’re Looking For
We want instructors who are:
Passionate, professional, and driven.
Team-oriented but also confident as self-starters.
Pilates geeks who love sharing their knowledge and helping clients feel stronger and healthier.
Organized, reliable, and great with people.
Requirements
Comprehensive Pilates Certification (all apparatus, exams, and required hours completed).
Experience teaching Privates, Semi-Privates, and Group Classes on GRATZ equipment.
Strong knowledge of the Pilates Method and ability to teach all levels and special populations.
Commitment to a minimum of 8-10 hours per week.
Comfortable with scheduling systems (experience with Vagaro a plus, or willing to learn).
Consistent availability for client bookings.
